Edmunds.com reports that East Texas Muscle Cars is going to be producing a one-off remote turbo v-6 model that they are planning on beating the GT-R's record Nurburgring speed. The vehicle is said to produce 500hp, thats about 200 more than the stock motor rating! This should be insane...

LS7 wheels for sale?!

Our friends over at camaro5.com that host one of the best, if not the best 5th Gen Camaro forum around just posted that a member (Hylton) is taking pre-orders for actual replica LS-7 style wheels. As you all know, these wheels where part of the concept LS-7 model that was shown across the world at famous auto shows. If you would like to reserve your set head on over to Camaro5.com. Total cost is not set, but should be around $1500. These wheels are really going to look great!

Just ordered: 5th Gen Camaro

Hey hows it going? My name is Brandon, I am a die hard Camaro fan and if your on this blog you proably are as well.

I decided to create this blog to track my 5th gen Camaro buying experience and post up pictures, news, and modifications once it has arrived. If your interested in following my journey please do.

I ordered my Camaro last Saturday from Barlow Chevy in Delran NJ.They are a great dealer, and i had a pleasant experience with them. I would highly recommend ordering here if you are looking for a dealer that isn't marking up prices.

I ordered mine with the following options.

Black
1SS/RS
LS3
6spd
Tremec TR6060
Black sport cloth
20" Polished Aluminum Wheels

I went with the 1SS because i am not a fan of all the bells and whistles. I know that they are pretty sweet, but I don't feel like dealing with fixing them in the future. I am also not a leather fan, so the extra money will be save and used for performance enhancers later on.The one option I wish I had put on it is the painted door inserts. This is not available without ordering the entire 2SS package. Ill just order the Carbon Fiber units when they come in ;)

The rep told me there is a 90 day average wait. I told him I've been waiting 8yrs, 90 days will be nothing! It should be here in November...
